Remember when we first started this journey together , that I promise you that there is a happiness wonder drug that you can take that will almost always make you feel better? Now that you've made it this far , here are a TLDR version of the past 12 weeks combined. Try to incorporate these 5 habits into your life and it would be really really hard not to see yourself becoming happier.

  1. Exercise By now I believe we don't have to go through all the benefits of exercising. A higher self esteem , lower anxiety/stress , and overall better health that's for sure. If you're having difficulty exercising , I would suggest you to start trying different exercises. Not into running? Try yoga. Not into yoga? Try basketball. Not into balls? ( No pun intended ) Try badminton. Not into shuttlecocks? ( Again , no pun intended )Try something. There are hundreds of sports or exercises out there that will get you moving. Find the one you enjoy the most and exercising will feel less like a chore. Also , while you're at it , watch this awesome video of Joe Rogan talking about exercising. TLDR: Try different exercises , stick to the one you like the most , do it for at least 30 minutes , 4 times a week.

  1. Meditation You've read all about it 2 weeks ago in this post. So the next step is to sign yourself up for Vipassana course right here. Mind you again , that it is extremely challenging , so please be prepared before you commit yourself. TLDR : Meditation might not be for everyone , but if you are into it , it's really good for you. 15 minutes of mindful exercises ( can be as simple as sitting down and focus on your breathing ) everyday.

  2. Sleep Say you're Bill Gates level of smart. You foresee all these technology coming , you might think our working hours would shrink dramatically. But somehow the system has figure out a way to keep us all busy. If you're trapped in the rat race ( let's face it , 99% of us are ) , it's extremely hard to have consistent and sufficient rest. The topic of sleep is also pretty controversial. On one hand you have people that have to sleep 8 hours a day to stay functional , but on the other you read article about how great people slept on weird schedule totaling to only 2-3 hours a day. Practicality aside , I don't think working adults like us have the luxury to go on unique sleeping cycle ( unless you're a freelancer ) , so the conventional wisdom is to have at least 7 to 8 hours sleep every night. Treat sufficient sleep as an investment , it will strengthen your immune system , raise your energy level , and I am not sure if you have realize by now , make you less cranky. Again ,while you're at it , watch this awesome podcast of Matthew Walker talking about basically everything you need to know about sleep. TLDR : Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Period.

  3. Touch Get 12 hugs a day.

  4. Flow Do what you love.
